Check a flight in three steps

Use Flight Status & Tracking

The extension is designed for a quick status check without leaving the page you are viewing.

Open the on-page widget

Look for the Flight Status & Tracking widget icon on the webpage—normally near the lower-right corner—then select it. You can drag the icon to another position if it is in the way.

Enter the flight and date

Type the airline code and flight number, such as AA 2847, then choose the date the flight departs from its origin airport.

Review available details

Read the current status, local departure and arrival times, terminal and gate information, and live tracking details when they are available.

Times are shown in each airport's local time. Use the refresh control in the widget when you want to request newer information.

If a flight is not found

Confirm the flight number

Use the operating airline's two-letter code followed by the number, and check for typing errors.

Check the departure date

Choose the calendar date the flight leaves its origin airport, especially for overnight travel.

Availability can vary

Live position, terminal, gate, or baggage details may not be provided for every flight.
