The extension is designed for a quick status check without leaving the page you are viewing.

Type the airline code and flight number, such as AA 2847, then choose the date the flight departs from its origin airport.
Read the current status, local departure and arrival times, terminal and gate information, and live tracking details when they are available.
Times are shown in each airport's local time. Use the refresh control in the widget when you want to request newer information.
Use the operating airline's two-letter code followed by the number, and check for typing errors.
Choose the calendar date the flight leaves its origin airport, especially for overnight travel.
Live position, terminal, gate, or baggage details may not be provided for every flight.
